Indoor activities for kids in Perth
Updated: Jul 10
Whether you want to go out for the day or stay in doors here is a list of great things to do to keep your family entertained. As a parent myself, I get it. Having the kids constantly saying " I'm bored." I hope to give you a list of things you may not have thought of.
1. Inflatable world There are a few locations now which are Ballajura, Shenton Park, Mandurah and Joondalup. Honestly I had more fun here than my daughter did I think. With friendly staff and so many options you can go to your hearts content. Get to have fun with your kids before they are too old.
2. The painted tea pot All sessions are 1 hour and 45 minutes long and it is advised to book ahead of time. The concept is simple choose a ceramic piece from their selection starting from $10 and start painting. Once you have finished they will glaze and fire it in the kiln. The only thing with this is that your finished product will not be ready on the same day which is hard for the kids to understand. However when they finally get it they will be so happy.
3. Perth Mint
This place surprised me. It was a wonderful experience. There is so much to see and do here and there are so many little details that really will amaze and teach your family. You learn about the gold mining process going back in time. You get to see the largest coin and learn about how they make them. I encourage you to try this place if you haven't.
4. The Nostalgia Box
Take this opportunity to show your kids what you grew up with and then give them a run for their money playing games you remember. With old pinball machines to Mario karts, the whole family will have a blast.
5.Guildford Museum of Natural history
This place is really cool. It has a big dinosaur outside. Plenty of photo opportunities. So much to learn and see with lovely staff.
I hope this list gives you some fun ideas. I would love to hear about your experiences.
